Run your first scan

After activation, start a Quick Scan from Dashboard or Scan → Scan PC. Total Security inspects memory, startup locations, and high-risk folders first.

Review detections in Quarantine before restoring anything. Schedule an overnight Full Scan on new installs.

Key aspects of the first scan

• Local high-risk paths (Downloads, Temp, Startup)
• Running processes and loaded modules
• Heuristic + definition-based detection
• Automatic quarantine of high-confidence threats

When to use

• Immediately after install
• After restoring from backup
• When the PC shows pop-ups or unusual slowness
